Product Description
SFT : SFT Manufactures interlock hoses (Strpwound) in accordance with BS EN ISO 15465 from a spiral wound and overlapping profiled strip.
Applications :
» Used in Corrugated Hose assemblies as Armor Guard, Flow Liner & Bend Restrictors.
» Heater tubing,
» Ventilating ducting,
» Automotive exhaust,
» Moderate suction lines,
» Dust collecting Ducting,
» Refrigeration tubing armor
» Air Blower
Types of Interlocked Hose :
Polygonal Cross Section : » Polygonal profile provide better size stability when cut, especially on short lengths, due to the liner surfaces and bends locked together.
Rounded Cross Section : » Round profile is the most common guard used and provide excellent overall performance. The round profile can allow for minor adjustments in diameter by tightening or loosening the guard.
Size Range : 1/2” to “12” I.D.
Metals : Stainless Steel, Galvanized Steel, Brass, Bronze, and Monel
Both Polygonal & Round Cross Section Interlocked Hoses are produced in Two Forms :
» Rigid guard has a tighter profile to provide additional support in application where protection, bend restricition or high flow
rates are critical.
» Floppy guards profile allows free movement of the hose assembly while providing protection to the hose and braid.
